Power button broke after 6 montgs

I had my iPhone without claims for three years, I got a Nother one for $165 co-pay and the power button went out before six months and now I can’t do anything because I took the insurance off the old phone. I was told that anything goes wrong with it I have a one-year warranty and now nobody wants to comply and make good on it.
