Was backing up my MacBook Air on a Time Machine. Recently, I lost my MacBook and I now have an iPad Pro (2018). All I want is to access my files on Time Machine but I’m not sure if my iPad Pro can do it. Is this possible? And/or what do I do to access the files if I cannot do it from an iPad?

Just to clarify......
Time Machine is software on a Mac that is used to back up the Mac to another hard drive.
A Time Capsule is hardware......a router with a built in hard drive that is designed to store backups of a Mac using Time Machine software on the Mac.
You will need a Mac to be able to access the Time Machine files on your Time Capsule and transfer them over to the Mac.
You can potentially access files from a network drive or shared drive, from your iPad Pro, using an app, like FileBrowser. However, as Bob has already mentioned, if your goal is to access a Time Machine backup, doing so may be difficult, if not, impossible ... and getting another Mac would be far easier.
