Good day, im a fairly new i phone user and i recently baught an iphone X and in quite a few days im unable to hear the person at the other end speak while im on a call, i usually use a earphone to suppliment the issue but its quite a nuisance when i have to put it in speaker mode in front of people to get vital information. Is there any solution that i need to check out?

It sounds like this is a hardware issue so I would recommend taking the phone into an Apple Store to get it checked out. You can create an appointment here:

If you scroll all the way down, you will see a blue button saying 'Get hardware help'. Click on that and it will guide you to making an appointment.
