Xs Max Brightness won't hold.

Question

Xs Max Brightness won't hold.

Just got the Xs Max. The Brightness won't hold. Every time I open it up again, the Brightness has darkened itself. How do I stop that?

Hey there!

Try opening Settings and going to 'Display and Brightness'. Check to make sure that 'Auto Brightness' is deactivated!

Hello,

Your iPhone might just be adjusting the brightness to your environment. Try going to a dark room, and wait until it eventually lights up.

Thank you. Close but, the path is a bit different. I found that if I go to Settings, General, Accessibility, Display Accommodations, THEN Auto Brightness, I could turn it off. Long way around but, thanks for your help.. !
