Itunes says I don't have permission to connect to new phone

I just bought a new phone and trying to set it up with Itunes it says "I don't have permission

Thanks for posting this info.


The problem is your iTunes version is much too old to communicate to your iPhone.


Either you have a very old operating system or you have not updated your iTunes version in a long time.


Be certain you have the latest operating system version.

Upgrade to macOS Mojave - Official Apple Support


Abd if you’re not going to use Mojave because your computer is too old, get the latest iTunes version.

Again, if your operating system is too old and cannot be upgraded, you may not be able to solve this without purchasing a new computer.
