Trying to update to Mohave OS - telling me I cant install on my Mac - not telling me why - I have plenty of storage - I have 16GB RAM but not telling me how much avail RAM I have and if that is the issue or if I have other requirement gaps - Thanks
That model does not meet requirements for Mojave as it needs to be a Late 2012 Mini or newer. It can be upgraded to OS X High Sierra.

The limiting factor is the availability of a Metal capable GPU. Only the MacPro model can use an upgraded GPU for compatibility.
Your Mac needs to be:
Mostly hardware requirements.
What's also important: how much available empty space do you have on your hard drive? You will need a minimum of about 15 GB (and should always retain that minimum for the OS to run efficiently).
Thanks and sorry. I’m not very tech savvy. It’s an iMac mid 2010 with 212G avail storage and 16GB RAM running Sierra 10.12.6.
