Purple vertical line on iphone x screen

I've been using an iphone X 256 GB for about 8 months now and recently wanted to taken pictures and videos of me swim, things were fine until i found a very light purple line in the middle of my screen, i was very disappointed to have encountered this as apple claims it to be "IP 67" certified.

I hope to get a replacement done as the phone is still under warranty.
