gift cards
I received a pack of gift cards for Christmas and went to redeem them and they apparently are not active. I checked with the person who got me the gift and they don't have the receipt...
Gift cards have to be activated by the retailer at the time of purchase. Otherwise they are just colorful pieces of plastic.
