I bought my iPhone off someone an I can’t take their info off an put my own. I tried resetting it but it asked for the old owners Apple ID password I just need help in how to do that

Without the cooperation of the previous owner you will not be able to use that iPhone: Turn off Find My iPhone Activation Lock - Apple Support.
