Ipad to tv lightning cable that supports Netflix.

I am going on holifay & planned to download movies from Netflix & watch them while away on a Tv. I have read So many different posts all saying yes you can use an adapter & Hdmi to watch movies on a Tv & others saying No adapter or Hdmi supports Netflix. So what is correct? Ive given up looking into it myself & would appreciate some advice.

Thank you

Netflix used to support TV output through the Apple Digital AV adapter.

Not sure about the latest version, though, since I am unable to run it on my iPad with the version of iOS I am running.

The last compatible version of Netflix I have, which is for iOS 10.3.3 and later, still allows the Apple Lightning to Digital AV to HDMI adapter to output Netflix from iPad to TV in HD.

You, also, need to make sure to purchase the genuine Apple Lightning to digital AV adapter from Apple and no where else, as third party sellers may sell fake versions of that adapter that might not work.

Best to contact Netflix to confirm that their latest version of the Netflix app supports these TV out adapters for iOS/iDevices.
