Forgotten my Macbook air password

I have purchased i Macbook Air few years age Serial Number: C0*****RVC...For my official purpose I was busy thats why didn't use that..Today I tried to open but I can't open My Mac because of forgotten Macbook password and I saw that that wasn't in my device list.
