Why am I getting this message when I am doing a back up directly from my iphone to the computer on iTunes

I do a cloud backup and on computer backup both

Have you used these steps to verify your latest backup dates for both iCloud and iTunes? The alert looks like it may be specific to iCloud, and it's worth double-checking to make sure the last backup was indeed able to complete: Locate backups of your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch


If you find the last iCloud backup wasn't completed, check out the troubleshooting steps here for assistance in clearing things up so you're able to make a current iCloud backup: If you can't back up to iCloud or restore from iCloud backup failed
