How to retrieve deleted contacts

I do not know how the contacts were deleted on iPhone, iPad and computer. I took a lesson at the Apple Store on

iPhone and iPad March 13th. At that time contacts were still on iPad. Later in day discovered they were gone on

all three devices. Apple did not help me. I did the ICloud restore program and it failed. The message at end of test was-your

contacts restored successfully. Did not happen. Hope this message explains the situation.

When you logged into iCloud on the computer, were the contacts in iCloud? You say that you used the Restore in iCloud, however they did not return. Since the contacts were on all 3 devices and disappeared on all 3, I'm guessing they were managed by iCloud. If they are not in iCloud on the computer, and did not restore to iCloud and are not on any of the devices, I would have to say they are gone. That would be especially true if you asked Apple for help and they could not restore them.

How were you managing your contacts? That makes a difference on how you may restore them.
