How to know a natural resolution of Retina display?
I have MacBook Pro, 15 inch, touch bar, 2018. According to Apple it has a retina display with 2880x1800 resolution. And according to internal application "About this Mac" also the display has 2880x1800. But, according to all other applications, games, for instance, or resolution switches the monitor has a maximum resolution 3360x2100. And in the official system preference application the default resolution for the monitor is 1680x1050 which is a natural half scale for the 3360x2100, but not 1440x900 with will be a natural half scale for the 2880x1800.
So is the question. How to know what is true maximum (natural) resolution for my monitor indeed? Yep, I want set half scale of it to common office work.
