ipad mini 4 battery
My battery doesn't seem to be holding a charge that long, even when in airplane mode. Any ideas on how to improve performance? I tend to use mine for reading.

To preserve battery life, you need to turn the screen brightness down to a lower, but still comfortable level to view and use.
If your screen brightness is really high, your iPad is going to chew through your battery life.
If you use email, in Settings app under Mail, set mail to fetch less often.
If you get notifications, in Settings you can either turn off notifications, globally, for all apps, or turn off notifications for apps that you really do not care to get notifications for.
In Settings, turn OFF Background App Refesh for any apps that you really do not want to be constantly updating in the background app switcher when not actually using the app.
