Pair Magic Mouse with Ipad pro

I know that there is no mouse support, My question, nevertheless, can the magic mouse at least be paired with the Ipad pro? the mouse does not even show up as a bluetooth device on my ipad. Jump desktop appears to offer alternative mouse support that allows the ipad to work with the remote desktop and with mouse support over the ipad, but only two types of mouse are currently supported. Being able to use a mouse for remote desktop would make the ipad much more functional. First hurdle, can it be paired without a jailbreak? Same question has been posted to Jump Desktop.
