I hit the “Get” button, it loads for a second, and doesnt start downloading.

I just bought the iphone xr today and cannot downlod any apps. Right after i press the button to download it stops and returns to normal as if i hadnt pressed it. The app never appears to start downloading.

Force restart the iPhone as follows:

Press the volume up button and quickly release
Press the volume down button and quickly release
Press the on/off button and hold until the Apple logo appears.

I fixed it myself, if anyone has the same problem make sure to verify your email. It never said i had to do this but once i did everything was good.
