I’ve had my iPhone XS max for about 3 weeks now and yesterday it started messing with Face ID. It can’t seem to unlock for me and also when I try an reset it it gives me a hard time and or also it says unavailable at this time. It will keep doing this for about 4-5 hours then I can set up again but like I said latter on it will not work. Please help, I’ve tried everything.

If nothing there helps, make an appointment at an Apple store and bring it in for evaluation.
