URL Scheme for iBooks

Ever since version 1.1, iBooks has had PDF viewing functionality. Some apps like Dropbox allow viewing PDFs in iBooks. I'm assuming that this uses a URL scheme for loading PDFs into iBooks, since according to the developer docs that's how apps can communicate with each other.

However, the Apple URL Scheme reference ( http://developer.apple.com/iphone/library/featuredarticles/iPhoneURLScheme_Refer ence/Introduction/Introduction.html) was last updated on 2009-06-17, and therefore makes no mention about iBooks, iPhone 3.2, or iOS 4.

Closest I was able to find was the itms-books: scheme which invokes the iBooks Store. I would like to know what the URL scheme is for invoking the iBooks PDF viewer. Any type of help is appreciated.

Can anyone confirm that iBooks 1.1 and 1.1.1 append "%20" to all externally-targeted URLs in PDF books?

As a result, I get a +Page Not Found+ page when initially navigating to an external URL. I have to truncate the 3 extra characters from the URL in Safari in order to load the intended web page.

These PDF files are well known to me and have always worked fine in this respect in Acrobat Reader.
