Do what this link instructs: If you see the Connect to iTunes screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If that doesn't help and the iPad is fully disabled, restore it via the instructions in this link: If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
