I keep getting this message "sharingd is trying to modify your user account." No matter how many times I enter the password, it goes away for a second and pops back up. Any ideas on what could be causing this or how to make it stop? I'm run-in OS 10.14.2

"sharingd" is a daemon process that enables AirDrop, Handoff, Instant Hotspot, Shared Computers, and Remote Desktop in the Finder. Using any of these would potentially cause this message to appear.
Why it appears maybe due to a corrupted saved password entry in your Mac's Keychain.
Thanks! I deleted the keychain and that appears to have solved the problem.
