Okay so, I have a tempered glass screen protector and a case on my iPod touch (6th gen) and I was sitting on a bench and it slipped out of my pocket and shattered the screen even though i have a screen protector. I've dropped it from a much higher height before it had the protector and case but it didn't do anything that time. Does anyone know a cheap repair option?
There really is no repair for broken screens.
You can take it into an apple store or authorized service provider and get an out of warranty replacement for about 60% of the cost of a new one.
Or if you have apple care plus on the device that may fall under your ‘accidental damage’ clause.
