Airplay

I can play music to a sonos one and a Apple TV 3 from my Mac but not from my iOS 12.1.4 devices. I can only play to one device at a time. Why?

Airplay with Apple TV 4k. I have an Apple TV 4k, attached to TV with speakers, an Airplay2 speaker and an older Apple TV second generation attached to another TV. From iTunes in Windows, I can stream without any problem to these 3 devices simultaneously. However, I want to stream from my Apple TV 4k to my Airplay2 speaker, my Apple TV 2nd gen. This is were I have a problem. I get a list of three devices to stream to: TV speakers (attached to my Apple TV 4K), my Airplay2 speaker and my Apple TV 2nd gen. I can stream to TV speakers and Airplay2 speaker simultaneously, but when I select my Apple TV 2nd gen, I can not also select my TV speakers and/or my Aiplay2 speaker. When streaming with Airplay from the Apple TV 4K one can stream at most to one Apple TV 2nd gen at the time???? Thanks, Rob.

Trouble playing music via airplay on My apple tv 4K. If I try and add a second apple tv or iPod as an additional source, the music stops playing in the apple 4K device. What’s going on? It use to work.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! I understand you can't AirPlay to your Sonos speaker from your iOS 12.1.4 devices but you're able to with your Apple Tv and Mac. I'm happy to help you in any way possible. Check out the section of this article that states

"AirPlay audio from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch".
