The "cellular update failed" error message... any chance that the phones modem is fail-ING and not completely failed?? I've intermittently been able to make calls on my iPhone 7. Also when i leave home wifi, i have data access temporarily.. as in 30-1hr.

What to do next:
If you restore or erase your iPhone or iPad, you might not be able to activate your device.
