Computer screen display is flickering/flashing horizontal colors

Hi everyone!

I am hoping I can find someone to help me with this issue I have been having. Recently, within the last 3 days, my computer will be working fine and then randomly show these colorful horizontal lines. Usually, shutting down my laptop and restarting it helps for about an hour, but then it will continue again. I have online tests next week so I would like to hopefully have this sorted out by then!
