Touch screen on New Iphone Xr not working properly

I have a new iPhone XR 128GB. So far is fine but i see it has few minor touch issues. When I see the lock screen, I see torch and camera icons but I have to hit them many times before they actually work. Secondly, when I open an app like Facebook and open screens with Facebook or other apps, I have to hit back arrow on the top corner multiple times and same things happens when I have to close a screen within any app by tapping little cross on the top left corner. This tap problem is quite frequent. My iOS is updated to 12.1.4 Is there any one having the same issue?

You have to press on Torch and Camera buttons on the lock screen to launch them.

However, tapping an arrow back should be just like a regular tap.

Try to hard reboot your iPhone by pressing the Volume Up button, then release it, Volume Down button, release it, hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears.
