You should be able to Ctl-Click the drive in the Side Bar of any Finder window and get a contextual menu like this one, with an Eject option available. The Eject option should also be visible if you click the drive and then select the File menu at the top of the screen.
Are these options showing up for you? Are you clicking them but not getting any response?
If it's in use, say by Spotlight indexing, then you can't eject it, but have you tried dragging it to the trash to eject it?
Or in Finder clicking on the Eject symbol beside the Partition.Drive?
