I need to remove an email account from my iphone XS Max, but all of the accounts under Settings>passwords and accounts are grayed out so there's no option to remove/delete. I can't access them from Icloud either. How do I remove an account from my iphone? Also, my name and Apple ID, etc. is grayed out, so I can't go into that either.

--> Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content and Restrictions > Turn it Off and try again it will let you delete the email account. You should have screen time turned on due to which it is not allowing you to delete the email account.

Have you checked the settings in Screen Time restrictions?
Do you have a company email account on your phone? Having one gives the company considerable control over what settings you can and can't change.
Your phone has a restriction enabled on changing settings in Settings/Screen Time. The only solution is to enter the Screen Time passcode and change the setting.
Thank you for your response. Screen time is not enabled or turned on for my own phone. I only use it for my children’s devices.
