Mail app locking out exchange account

I would be grateful for your help.

I have my exchange mail set up on mail app on my IPhone with all the contacts and calendar events. Suddenly my phone started locking the exchange account and I have to go through a process of resetting my exchange password several times a day. I tried deleting the exchange account from the phone and setting it up again (both with automatic and manual settings) it seems to work fine, connecting to exchange and downloading mail and after a short period of inactivity locking me out again


Not sure what to do as I really need access to this email from my phone + all the contacts are there

Thanks for stopping by the Apple Support Communities. From your post I understand that you're having trouble with your Exchange account on an iPhone. It seems after using it on the phone for a bit you're having to reset your password. I'm happy to help!


The first thing I would recommend is for you to ensure all of your settings are correct on the iPhoneSet up Exchange ActiveSync on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.


If everything there seems correct, the next step is for you to reach out to your Exchange administrator for further assistance. You may need your Exchange Device ID for this, and you can use the Apple Support article Find your Exchange Device ID - Apple Support to help locate it.
