Just bought the 6s , but could not get a sim in Vodafone shop, as their systems were down got a Vodaphone nano sim (Elite ) in local supermarket fitted it but phone says this is not supported by Apple , have put money into Vodafone today please can anyone advise I am new to iPhone frustrating

However, you probably need to go back to the Vodafone shop.
That error means the iPhone you bought is locked to a carrier other than Vodaphone. So it cannot take Vodaphone sim cards.
Where did you buy this iPhone? Was it advertised as unlocked?
I bought it in Cex Edinburgh as unlocked will get back to them thanks.
