Scratched display (Apple Watch Series 4)

Hello everyone

Until now, in the last 9 years, it never happened that one of my devices submitted a scratch, but unfortunately now it has happened to the display of my Apple Watch Series 4.

I know, they are just a couple of scratches, but I want to my display in perfect conditions.

I went by Apple and I said them that:

I want to spend money for a reparation, but they do not cover this kind of case.
I am available to give back my watch and spend money for getting a replacing one, but this case is not covered as well.

Does it mean that I can do nothing? Some suggestion?

I would not buy a device like that. These scratches are not minor. Anyway, I paid this device nearly 550 Euro 3 months ago and I would not sell it for less than 450 Euro. Why should someone buy this damaged device for 450 Euro?

As I said, I asked Apple for a reparation of the display or for a replacing of the device, obviusly paying, but they did not accepted.

I did not buy Apple Care+ because I have a private insurance for my electronic devices and my insurance cover the reparations, but Apple does not want to bring my watch in reparation and I find it really absurd.

Apple told me that they do not make reparations to the Apple Watch Series 4 and that I should find a service store myself. What? I bought a luxus product and there is no reparation service?

I thought to use the online service, but I never tried it. I can try to schedule a call in order to discuss my case and get another point of view.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will keep up to date this thread, in case some other has an issue like mine.

You can sell it and buy a new one. Other than that you can learn how to live with the scratches. Minor scratches do not affect the performance of the device.

Got to say they don’t look good. Do you have Apple care+ ? As you can get it repaired for a reduced fee. I do feel your pain on having scratches on your Watch.
