Is just doing a factory reset safe?

Hi, I’m selling my iPad but have concerns about the factory reset. I have in the past took screenshots of online banking credentials and made notes of various usernames and passwords, and I am concerned about the possibility of somebody using some kind of special software to recover those items after a factory reset?

Is this something I need to be concerned about, if so, what action should I take?
