How do I ad or delete widget form the available widget list ?

When Editing the Today widget, There’s a list of available widgets that can be added, how do you revise the list of available widgets.

In other words can the list of available widgets be revised? How do you remove or add to the available widgets?

I assume it would be the same answer for both my iPhone and iPad?
