Deleting photos from messages
Before I was able to highlight the pics in messages with a check mark under attachments to delete and now I cannot do this.

If you hold on the picture you get a dialogue with copy, save and more, select more to put a “tick” by the side of it, then select the trash can at the bottom.
That’s for iMessages not using iCloud syncing though (just text forwarding), if you are it might be different.
