I’m planning on giving my iPhone 7plus to my stepdad as he needs a new phone. I followed the steps from the carrier (T-Mobile) to unlock the phone. I’ve unlocked it now I’m trying to reset it so it’s completely blank and clear and it will not reset. Help!!

Then you must enter the password for your Apple ID to turn off Activation Lock first. That is covered in the link that I provided.
I’ve done this like 10 times and it does not reset it. It still shows my Apple ID signed into the ohone
