Unable to restore mac

I tried to wipe clean my Mac (A1502, late 2013 model). The original recovery mode acted up, which made me have to restart the system. When I did, however, it wouldn’t allow me to go back. I even tried to use internet recovery, but is unable to get any WiFi connection to show up on the computer. Can someone help to figure out how to get the computer back working?

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14

If you cannot connect to WiFi for Internet Recovery, then get a Thunderbolt to Ethernet Adapter and connect the laptop directly to your router or modem using Ethernet.
