Apple TV 4K Screensaver not starting

Ever since I updated to tvOS 12.1 the screensaver won't start on any of my multiple Apple TVs. No matter how I set my screensaver preferences the screensaver won't kick in...It will work if I hit Menu on the control until I go back to the initial screen though but never automatically as before. I called Apple Support and they suggested to reset the device but it won't make a difference. I have also looked online and apparently nobody else is having this issue...Please help!

Some things you could try:

Select another “Type” of screensaver and click on Preview

and / or change how you want it to “start after”

Restart Apple TV, then go back to reselect the screensaver settings you want.

If this fails:

Unplug Apple TV for 30 seconds

I can’t find anything with your particular problem... on all your Apple TVs. Seems strange it’s affecting them all.

This problem has come up but the fix is for one Apple TV doing it.

I thought about it being if you were using match content on your home screen layout , but that’s done via iCloud. As are using your own photos along with enabling home sharing.

It could be worth seeing if signing out of iCloud on all of them and signing back in, one at a time.

Unless it’s something in the video settings?

I tried to sign out and back in on only one of the units and it didn't work. I'll try to do it on all of them as you suggested later. Most curious thing is that I have (5) Apple TVs at home. Three units are 4K and the other two units are 4th Gen. they are all running on tvOS 12.1.2 but only the 4K units are experiencing the problem with the screensaver, the (3) of them!

Thanks for your answer but I just followed all your suggestions and the problem continues...The screensaver won't come out at the set time. It doesn't seem to be a device problem because I have (3) Apple TV 4Ks and they are ALL having the same issue with the screensaver...
