Where is my app’s data backed up? I’m using an app on my old iPhone that allows me to document various things using photos. I’m about to get a new iPhone, so I’m wondering how to save all the data in the app. According to the sole entry in the app’s FAQ,: “If you have an iCloud account, your data will automatically be backed up to iCloud. Just make sure to not delete the app. If you lose your phone or have to reset your phone, restoring from your iCloud backup should restore all your data.” At the main level of iCloud Drive on my phone, I see the following folders: ArtText3, BBEdit, Downloads, GarageBand, Graphic (another app), Pages, Preview, QuickTime player, Shortcuts, and TextEdit. I do not see a folder specifically for the aforementioned app. Could the backups be elsewhere, or is the app’s FAQ mistaken?
