The first release of Acrobat products that were purposely stated by Adobe as Mojave compatible was the release of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC v2019 and Acrobat Reader DC v2019 in Sept 2018. Anything earlier, especially 9 is asking for pain.
9 works fine, there is no pain.
Chances aren't good it would work. About all you can do is try and find out.
It's almost 11 year old software. I wouldn't hold out much hope.
