can't sign in to App Store in MacBook Air

after downloading the OS Mojave , can't login into App Store on my MacBook Air .

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.14

Mojave wont let me sign into App Store My MacBook Air will not let me sign into the AppStore. I’m able to sign into everything else but the App Store. I know I’m using the correct login information, it’ll ask me to sign in, then once I input all of my information the little drop box would disappear, and nothing happens after that. app store not signing me in on my mac I have been trying to sign in to App Store by clicking on the 'sign in' button and entering my login details...but the button then switches back to 'sign in' and nothing happens. I have been able to login to icloud, iTunes etc without problem. Its the app store that is not letting me login...! Any help will be much appreciated! thanks!

I am having trouble signing into App Store on my new Macbook Air I have settled up everything, but I'm unable to download any app from App Store. This is the screenshot from settings. Below screenshot is from App Store. It's just not signing in.

I do not understand the problem. After macOS Mojave is installed here, the first best application that opens automatically is the App Store.

And below left I see my Apple ID, automatically logged in.
