Clips are missing?

Hi, I’ve been recording short clips on the Clips app for a while and saving them within the app (they weren’t exporting to Photos). They are now all showing a “missing item” message (attached). Is there anything I can do to recover them? I have not offloaded anything from my phone lately and the storage isn’t close to full so I really am at a loss as to why this happened suddenly.
