I just got my Apple Watch series 4 44mm. Upon me looking at the various videos they have on how to use. I ran into a apple tech speaker. He said during the last update for the watch. It has the walkie talkie app. My friends have it and I can’t seem to figure out what’s wrong. Need help downloading app or if there’s something wrong with my watch.

You need watchOS 5.1.2 or newer
You need iOS 12.1.2 or newer
Both you and the other person need to have their iPhone signed into FaceTime. It is best if you verify FaceTime works between your iPhones, as Walkie-Talkie is FaceTime audio with Push-to-Talk capability.
If if your iPhone came from a country that does not allow FaceTime, then Walkie-Talkie will not work.

Thank you for tour reply. I got it working. Was I had my FaceTime off. Once I did that and restarted both. It automatically placed the app in there. iPhone was purchased through Verizon.
