iTunes freezes when online

Hi,

today I found that my iTunes crashes/freezes when online.

When my Mac is connected to the internet and I start iTunes, it freezes after 3-5 seconds and I need to force quit it. If I manage to play a song in those 3-5 seconds, it keeps playing, but there's the spinning wheel and iTunes don't respond.

When I disconnect the Mac from internet, iTunes behaves normally, everything works until I connect the Mac back to the internet. Then it freezes again and I have to force quit it.

Mac specs:

MacBook Pro (13-inch. 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports)

2,3 GHz Intel Core i5

8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3

Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MB

macOS Mojave 10.14.3

iTunes 12.9.2.5

MacBook Pro 13”, macOS 10.14

OK, so I somehow managed to fix my problem on my own.

I created a new library, which worked even online.

So I went offline, switched to my original library, deleted the last album I added to my library from Apple Music, went back online and everything is now working as usual. Even when I added the last album back.
