Can I add tags or metadata on Photos on iPad?

I cannot see a way to access the filename, add tags, or otherwise modify metadata for photos imported on my iPad into the Photos app. I want to change the capture time, add tags, and a description while it's still fresh in my memory. Thanks

iPad Pro, iOS 12

Thanks. I think it's shocking that Apple would not bother to allow users to modify metadata such as tags and names in Photos. That's a very basic piece of functionality that makes me with Steve Jobs were alive to yell at someone. I'll get an app for it as you suggest, but I'm also going to report it as a bug and I hope others will as well. Of course, Apple also makes reporting problems difficult and obscure, which explains why so many of their products have glaring issues like this.

The big problem is, that Photos iOS cannot show the metadata. And so it does not have any support to add the metadata. This is really disappointing on a device called "iPad Pro".

Yu could get yourself an app that can add metadata to Photos. I am using "ViewExif" on my iPhone, and I think you can also get it on a newer iPad. ViewExif can show you the keywords and captions added on a Mac, and you can also use it to add keywords and captions. Photos will still not show them in Photos on the iPad, but you can search for them in Photos and they will show in a search.

Metapho can also show Exif tags and edit them
