Weird icon on home screen. Hacked??

Have a weird icon on my home screen beteeen WiFi symbol and time clock. Can’t get rid of it and my phone battery is being drained. Anyone seen this icon before? Is my phone hacked?

If you're phone isn't jailbroken, it's not hacked...

I don't know what "weird icon" you're talking about... In order from left to right there is: signal bar, carrier name, wifi indicator, clock, Do Not Disturb indicator, Rotation lock, bluetooth, battery percentage, battery...

Which one is "weird"?

Thanks for the quick response. I heard they can’t be hacked, but this “icon” or symbol just showed up the last few days (never been there before and not part of wallpaper. Changed and still there. This appearance coincides with my phone won’t charge overnight with brand new chargers. Wake and it is 40-50-60% only. Battery draining. Weird stuff that can indicate hack.

Thanks. Not jail broken. The weird one is in the screen shot I provided, next to WiFi indicator and before clock. Looks like a bar with a black square/TV thing in it? Can’t even see it well enough to really describe, I just know it’s newly appeared. And phone battery dying.
