Voice Memo won’t play

I’m really frustrated with the voice memo app. I recorded something extremely important to me, and the memo will not play. I have tried everything that has been suggested to me including turning my phone off and on, updating, backing up and doing a hard reset. This memo was so important to me, and I cannot duplicate what was on it. This is heartbreaking and I cannot believe Apple has not fixed this problem that seems to have been occurring since late December, from all the comments I’ve found online and on this site.
