iPhone keypad
How do you use the letters on the keypad - all I can do is enter numbers

In a Phone app keypad, only numbers are allowed to be entered
Now the question is why then letters are present?
Many of Toll Free Numbers are indicated as
- 18001SRAVAN would be 1-800-177-2826 (just for example).
- 180012RAMBO would be 1-800-127-2626 (just for example).
