Searchitnow has taken over Chrome browser. Any help?

My Chrome browser has been taken over by Searchitnow bug. I shut down Chrome and it automatically starts back up. When I do a search, it changes from google to Bing. It's quite annoying. So far Safari is not effected. Read stuff about malwarebytes or some such program. Any help?

DO MalwareBytes

It was originally called AdwareMedic = authored by a well-respected veteran member here in ASC - thomas_r. (Thomas Reed)

MalwareBytes bought AdwareMedic from him and made him Director of Mac Products

Apple Support (phone) specialists recommend MWB for Mac all the time

I run MWB Pro (for PC = $35/yr) and it would never have let me INSTALL the malware to begin with

You get this stuff because you want stuff for FREE - you get what you pay for.
