The "Hey Siri" function is not working on my new Airpods (Airpod 2s)

So senior advisor had me “Reset all settings” which basically wipes your screensaver and Apple Pay cards, but it worked. Just remember to reset the “Hey Siri” function in Settings, General, Siri, to Listen.

Still its its kind of pointless since it still works through my phone. I hope this helps!

Have you upgraded your iPhone to IOS 12 and or your Watch to 5.2?

These are needed for this to work.

I have this same issue. Chat support cannot solve and waiting for escalation call from a senior advisor. I am so frustrated. I purchased the full new version even though I have v1 and rarely used them.
