Grainy images after Apple TV tvOS 12.2 update

Attempting to resolve an issue with extremely grainy images (photos, video, and even menu backgrounds) and jagged app icons and text following the update to tvOS 12.2. I've reset the TV to its defaults just in case and have changed the video settings of the Apple TV to a couple of different resolutions to see if it would dial itself back in. I've restarted the Apple TV but not completely reset it. Without the ability to backup and restore it, obviously, I'd rather not.

Gear: Apple TV 4 – 1080 version – and a Samsung 1080 TV

Thoughts anyone?
